Cutting Edge Non-Traditional Tax firm is seeking a Full-Time EXPERIENCED Senior Tax Accountant/Tax Manager for the following position:
Responsibilities:

Be able to Review and Prepare business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns

Support the on-boarding of new clients to ensure adequate support to the primary bookkeeper
-
Onboard new employees and ensure their successful transition to the company
-
Manage staff accountants
-
Communicate with clients
-
Organize and update the tax database
-
Record tax entries into accounting software
-
Understand and apply tax reduction strategies
-
Preparation and/or review of financial statements
-
Payroll Support
-
Support other areas of the company such as Sales, HR, and Admin as needed to continue to develop infrastructures of the company.
Requirements:
-
3 years of Tax Preparation Experience is a Must
-
Proven work experience as a Tax Senior/Tax Associate

Basic knowledge of the tax code for individuals and small business
-
Must be an EA, or CPA
-
Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
-
QuickBooks accounting software experience
-
Computer literacy, numerical skills and attention to detail
-
Commitment to refining processes and using technology (hardware, software, etc.) to streamline, automate, and gain efficiencies within the firm and for the client.

Able to adapt to changes quickly
-
Good over the Phone/ Zoom

Open to growing rapidly
Accounting Skills, PUBLIC ACCOUNTING and TAX PREPARATION experience is a MUST. Must have excellent people skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting professional environment close.

Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager role encompasses several different roles internally and externally. He/She will oversee and handle the day-to-day operations of our entire bookkeeping staff. Advanced accounting knowledge, technology savviness, and experience working with small to multi-million dollar companies are a necessity. True success comes from a successful team. Experience working with a team in a modern office is required. Must be tech-savvy and willing to invest time and energy into building the best team, creating the best talent, developing the best accounting processes, and providing the best service to our clients.

How You’ll Contribute:

Manage a team of bookkeepers and accountants.

Provide technical and social support to the team while developing each staff member to their full potential and efficiency.

Professional development of bookkeepers including providing in-service training on technical advances.

Regularly evaluate each employee and provide feedback to the company CEO.

Analyze and manage client profitability. Report feedback to the company CEO.

Research and continuing education in all areas of accounting and technology used internally and by clients.

Perform bookkeeping services as needed for multiple complex clients or clients in transition.

Support the on-boarding of new clients to ensure adequate support to the primary bookkeeper.

Onboard new employees and ensure their successful transition to the company.

Interview candidates for new positions.

Co-lead staff meetings and training.
-
Support other areas of the company such as Sales, HR, and Admin as needed to continue to develop infrastructures of the company.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelors or Higher in Accounting or Accounting related field.
-
CPA license preferred.
-
5 years of accounting experience
-
Quickbooks Certified is preferred.
-
Budgeting & Forecasting experience is a plus.
