About the job

We’re currently looking for a full-time Business Development Representative. Base
pay of $30,000 + commission, ability to average $60,000-80,000++/year. No pushy sales or cold
calling.


WHAT WOULD YOU BE HELPING US WITH?

CONSULTATIONS:
-Navigate a high volume of product and sales-related inquiries
-Dissect a business owner's goals and help them develop a better plan for achieving them
-Focus on coaching the customer in a consultative way vs. selling a product (No accounting
knowledge required, we’ll teach you what you need to know)
-Build strong relationships with client
-Become an expert at presenting how My Ally Tax can help a business owner improve the
fundamentals of their business
-Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture,
and vision for the future
-Maintain complete and accurate records of consultations, services presented and client
information to ensure a smooth transition to the service delivery team
-Follow up with customers and adjust their strategy if necessary
-Identify and deliver best next steps or resources to assist customers and users

MARKETING & STRATEGY:
-Responsible for following up on and nurturing qualified leads, lead generation strategy,
monitoring email campaigns, monitoring social media and responding to inquiries
-Draft ideas for social media campaigns, articles, blogs etc. The actual campaigns are
developed by a third party firm.
-Develop and nurture new partnerships and referral sources

FIRM INNOVATOR:
-Establish, document, and evaluate internal processes for the best client experience.
-Manage prospective and current client correspondence
-Assist in building our brand, our firm, and our client base through referrals, social media, etc.
-Other tasks that will make us the best that we can be.


Schedule: Monday to Friday - no weekends

Requirements

-Self-motivated go-getter with the ability to work independently and take initiative

-Have the ability to build rapport with potential clients and be a good listener. This usually

means you have a knack for clear communication, professionalism, and patience

-Extremely comfortable with video face-to-face meetings and quickly think through a potential

client’s needs to establish a clear service offering on the first call. Decisive and proactive.

-Able to adapt to an ever-changing software stack. We are constantly re-evaluating the best

technology for service delivery.

-2 years prior business development experience and a positive track record are required.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Have the desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales

-Have a positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for successes and failures

-Have exceptional consultative selling skills and closing skills

-Have a sharp focus on goals and a belief that your daily, weekly and monthly activities will

help achieve them

-Initiative to find the resources needed to be successful in this role

-An ability to work collaboratively to solve problems

-Coachability - ability to absorb and apply coaching.

-Curiosity - ability to understand potential customers context though effective questioning and

listening.

-Intelligence - ability to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate in an easy to

understand manner
